HannaJacobsSuzetteF 2I have studied and practiced the Enneagram since January 2000. I am a certified teacher of the Enneagram Professional Training Program and a associate trainer of "The Narrative Enneagram". I completed my studies under the co-founders of the Narrative School, Helen Palmer and David Daniels and have taught the Enneagram in South Africa, Malawi and Namibia since 2003. I graduated in Industrial Psychology at the University of Stellenbosch, B.Econ. and am a spiritual director, facilitator and life-coach.

I am a Faculty Member of Mundo Eneagrama.  Mundo Eneagama is a Global Enneagram Learning Community that combines virtual and in-person teaching methods in an international and multi-lingual environment.  Our Faculty Members come from 15 different countries and our aim is to provide on-going and high-level education and immersion on the Enneagram and in self-development paths.

I am one of 7 facilitators in a 15-month course in Spiritual Direction.  The aim of this course is to help participants learn the art of spiritual direction.  The focus falls on practical spiritual disciplines and making this part of our everyday life.  The Enneagram is part of this course in getting to know ourselves before we can help and direct others.  For more info:

I am also a Professional Member of the International Enneagram Association (IEA) and has presented workshops to small groups, churches business executives and government CEOs. The next Enneagram Professional Training Program, Part 2, will take place on the 14th - 15th July 2018 in Pretoria.

I have been married to Robert Fischer for 26 years. We have four children and live in Pretoria, South Africa.

I attended my first Enneagram workshop in Lilongwe, Malawi, in January 2000. From day one, the Enneagram was an aha-moment for me. I never saw "power" or "perfection" as gifts. For the first time I could identify with these gifts and I realized how different they are from my own. I became aware of my own ego and how difficult it is for me to change. Realizing these differences has helped me to cultivate patience and compassion, not only with myself, but also with my fellow human beings.

The Narrative Tradition makes use of panels when teaching the Enneagram Types. Each Type speaks for itself. I fell in love with this narrative tradition. I could identify with the people that sat on my panel and shared my/our point of view. What I like about the Narrative Tradition is that although we have facilitators, each participant is a teacher in his/her own right.

I believe the Enneagram to be the most effective tool to achieve self-awareness, to improve relationships and teamwork, to reduce conflict and to appreciate human diversity and spiritual growth. I have also found it extremely helpful in raising and parenting our children.

Teaching the Enneagram is like eating chocolate every day and not gaining weight. I love what I do and see it as a blessing to work with people that have teachable spirits. It is a privilege to see people's faces light up when they realize the biggest gift is this journey within. They suddenly understand that they cannot know and understand others if they don't know and understand themselves.

The Enneagram helps us to become free from these worn-out patterns that keeps limiting us from being who we really are. The Enneagram is a journey to freedom!
